    Saturday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap
    Frank Shaving Badger
    Supply SE Injector
    Supply Black Label Blade
    CWR
Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve AS

The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap lathered well with Frank Shaving Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector Razor and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks for the tip Jeff....will consider it for next summer(I'd like to get the Vintage Spice first, to get the feel of their soap for myself-course you've been giving it great reviews)

It bothers me that Fine raised its prices some.

Oyyyyy it’s so wonderful - what a pity that it was discontinued. I’m sure you would have definitely loved it!

Is that right? I suppose I am too stuck into the past. Noxema has gone the way of Rise(I think there were still some Rise's available around 2009).

I was wondering why he said he "would have loved it". Let me say this-Shux.

I think I asked you this before, but how does Polar Ice compare to Osage Rub?

Like the way a banana would compare to roast beef. Two totally different products - the way I see it is that the Polar Ice is just a name that they gave this aftershave because of its blue colour. It lists menthol as an ingredient but there’s no discernible cooling effect whereas Osage Rub is a face freezer.

    Shabbat Shalom my Lantzman!

No matter what scent profile, SW soaps deliver an amazing a lather. I’m glad I made a purchase before they closed their doors! They will be missed!

Shabbat Shalom lekha gam ken! (Shabbat Shalom to you too!)

I agree with you 1,000% on that - these SW soaps lather without an end and they have great skincare as well. This Lavender one smells super - believe it or not Corinne said she loves the scent!

    Greetings,

    Sunday morning shave.

Everything in my shave set up paired together wonderfully this morning.

The vast majority of my shave set ups are very in-expensive, today proved to me yet again that I can always get pleasurable shaves from traditional wet shaving accessories that don't cost the earth.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.
