BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, I mean SUPER-BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is how this shave was after using the Glacial Lavender soap and the Rubby Dubby Doo. It was most delightful and of course, BBS!

 

Discovery
I used the FB set on 9 for the first two passes today, and from that I learned the weepers I had been getting are not from the aggressive pass, but from the dialed down ones. Perhaps I am putting more pressure with those milder settings without realizing it. When the razor is set higher, I am more careful, and that was the ticket to a superb shave today.
The Colonel easily whipped the CBLMR into yogurt goodness, and I finished with Aqua Velva Ice Sport, which is the best sub $2 aftershave I have ever used. The scent matched well with the soap, and the menthol was welcome on this muggy morning.

3 passes. This hard soap is of unknown vintage and scent. To my nose I catch patchouli and leather, but who I am to say? Anyhoo, a short soak of the brush and soap allowed me to load sufficient soap in about 30 seconds for an outstanding face lather - slick, shiny and protective. I get more impressed with my badger brushes with each lather.

Fantastic near BBS shave today. The blade is falling off as the shaves increase. Had a bit more touch up today following the first 2 passes. The TSD soap is very easy to lather and super slick. I really like the scent of the Yin Yang and it paired well with the Myrsol Limon from my sample pack.

 

I had a wonderful shave today with Provence Sante face lathered to a creamy perfection. 3 passes and extremely smooth.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

RR Freedberg today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 badger. Great, easy, thick, lather. Rapira Platinum Lux in the Fatboy (3rd FB test blade). Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Fine Platinum.

Today is starting out to be warm and humid here in the Northeast. However, the morning must go on and my 15 minutes of solitude was, as always, a delightful experience. Two passes and BBS without irritation, nicks, cuts, weepers, etc.

Soap: RazoRock - Neroli
After: Home made ASB, Nivea after shave balm
Cologne: Extreme Polo Sport

Another Darn Fine Shave. The #6 brush whipped up the Neroli into a thick lather. The Merkur and Boker worked well. The Nivea ASB brought the needed moisturizing and the Polo Sport will have me smelling good all day.
