Excellent shave! I thought the Trumper's Coconut was drying my face out, but when I tried adding more water it fixed it right up. It seems like its ready to go without adding any extra water at all, but really shines with a couple of teaspoons added.

 

This forum seems to go in cycles. There are times when it seems that everyone posts a photo of the stuff they used. There are other times when no one does! I like the former.

I lucked out on the Harris Arlington – it was a blind buy. I like it so far, but something tells me it’s going to be a four hour gig. I’ll be making the required assessments this afternoon while wrenching in the garage.

I finally gave in and tried Van Der Hagen Deluxe shave soap. I have to wonder why I waited so long; I found it to be pleasantly surprising. Nice scent, good lather, great moisturizing properties, and the shave I got wasn’t bad either. A keeper, for sure!
