A very good, smooth, and chilly shave. Three passes plus one touch up leave me at DFS+. The milord with the blue super platinum work very good for me, and I got 7 shaves out of it, pretty good. The mama bears awakenings really does wake me up, very chilly.

I had some trouble moving back to day shift, only got about 2 hours of sleep.

Here is the last hotel bathroom photo of the week, I was hoping to get out of town last night, but I couldn't pull it off.

Guys, this Palmolive Cool cream from the Balkan countries is the exact equivalent of Italian Palmolive Menthol in every way except for the size and the color of the tube. The Diana Sport balsam is easily as cold as Osage Rub or Alcolado Glacial. I enjoyed this shave immensely! :biggrin:

1. Prep: Hot shower; hand strop blade
2. Lather: TSD ISZ Wheat Cream - bowl lather
3. Brush: Vulfix 2234
4. Razor: Gem HFT
5. Blade: Pella SS PTFE coated (1); 2+ passes
6. Post: Warm water rinse; cold water splash; Osage Rub; Bio-Oil; Clubman Talc

A very nice & enjoyable shave this Menthol Monday. Getting better w/ the HFT. The lather was a bit off as I started with too much water. That Vulfix sure does hold a ton of water! Excellent moisturizing after the shave from the Bio-Oil. The jury is still out on it but I'm giving it a go and liking it so far.
Shave Rating - Splendid. A nice slap in the face to wake up this morning. God Bless!

Used the Futur for variety. Even though I love straight razors, the Futur gives me such a good shave with such little effort that I will NEVER take it out of service.
