    Menthol Monday
    The Cube provided the menthol today. I tried pairing Stirling Port au Prince with Clubman with mixed results. I like Clubman, but it overpowered the soap. The shave was fine, nothing special or irritating.

    Soap – Lebelle Soaps: Tobac Vanille
    Post - Cold water rinse / Witch Hazel / Tallow + Steel: Dark Aftershave

    well, Tobac Vanille provided a cracking base for a terrific Sensor shave today.... a great start to my week..

    This is my shave this morning but was the basic setup for the past weekend as well. The only difference was the after shave I used. Sunday I used a different bottle of Avon Oland that was in a bulldog pipe decanter. After I put it on I realized that the aftershave in the bottle had gone bad.

    OMG, was this shave ever a bone-chiller and a BBS masterpiece after three passes with the Glacial Wintergreen soap. I couldn't believe how much lather I had, and I could have done a fourth pass if necessary. The matching balm and witch hazel as well as the Arctique felt beautiful - totally frigid with terrific soothing. The new Astra performed like a champ!
