I'm beginning to like YSL more. I might buy La Nuit de L'Homme finally after passing on it previously. We'll see.

La Nuit de L'Homme didn't work for me either. Rive gauche m7, and tuxedo are the only 3 that i like. La Nuit de L'Homme gets a lot of love. I think it is common.

Final shave of No-Repeat November. The gods chose the Qshave (Futur clone), the Super Iridium blade, Stirling Bay Rum and the JR46. Can't say there's a bad pick in that bunch. The Qshave at 6 which is wide open is a beast. Fearsome looking but if you handle her right you'll get a fine shave. With the lather from the JR brush and Stirling soap I had all the protection and slickness I could ask for. The Super Iridium blade is famously smooth and sharp and did a great job. I focused on staying on the cap and it didn't even bother the cut from last night, which is rather obviously there. Two passes and some touch up and the baby showed up for the final night of the month. Great way to finish it off.

Enjoying getting back to the basics of this hobby. A great shave with the Arko and boy oh boy does the featherweight do a great job.

Did you ever get to the bottom of your dodgy/different Tech? Have you tried a 'proper' one before writing it off? Before you say that it won't make a difference, the smallest things in razors matter! Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed. Mine is like a hot knife through butter going ATG (Astra SP blade), even smoother than my MMOC (and I thought that was a smooth operator)!

Well wonderfull Saturday morning for all I hope!

    20181201_070942.jpg

This morning I got a 4.5 star 3x3 with some touch up on the neck with my R41 (Monster :happy102:). I wont give it 5 stars because things just get better and I have about 2 weeks left.

Thats a 3 pass face shave with touch up on the neck and a 3 pass head shave. I can tell the blade is starting to fade on the last pass.

To add to this nice wondeful shave I had a great breakfast I call "heart attack, over easy".
Two scrambled eggs with cheese, and one egg over easy on top, toast, coffee.
Yea I like eggs, country eggs.
If I grab my chest, dial 911 ;)
    Thanks
    :):)

    Enjoy!

I've written off my particular EFBT but understand now that most came with a different cap. I accept that it may shave differently. I'm not a Tech-head so not really into spending large to aquire one but if I see one for cheap I may pick one up.
