The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #188 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Tech and the Personna Stainless Steel Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Not only are this Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave ever frigid, they smell GORGEOUS. The scent is a carbon copy of Creed Virgin Island Water which I had some years back and I loved it. This soap lathers like a maniac, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave feeling is awesome. The Gold Bond moisturizer has plenty of menthol in it too and it’s so soothing. Finally a couple of splashes of the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave and my face is frozen stiff not to mention how sexy I smell and how beautiful I look. (According to my lovely wife!) What a brilliant three pass BBS shave this was!

Mine was PIFed....hard to tell how "old" it is.

 

i have the lemon chill set,very cold.,they all must be similar..one would think ,to carry the glacial label.
