I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Cremo Cooling Shaving Soap doesn't face-lather well, but I used the Jayaruh #30 silvertip badger brush to distribute it on my face. I did two passes with the Gillette 195 Fatboy Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Went back to dad's tech but with a difference... my new handle from Connaught arrived yesterday so I thought I'd try it out. So heavy!! Totally changes the feel of the razor from the little aluminium one I had, in a good way I think. Also my first try of Gillette 7 O'Clock Green. Nice blade.

VDH Deluxe lathered with my Muhle Silverfibre V2, good old Aristocrat with a Shark SC (3) finished with Rose Thayers and AV Sensitive ASB. Nice and clean, light and crisp BBS in 3. Going to bed with a slick scalp on a cold pillowcase... Ready to kick the week's butt!!!!

Excellent shave today with reserve cool. The lather was thick, slick and shiny. I also used a beard balm from a local artisan - Top Notch Grizzly makes a very good balm that melts easily in my hands and makes my beard feel soft. The scent is subtle and pleasant.
