I doesn't smell like ivory soap to me. Don't get me wrong, I sorta like the smell, but I can see where people make the connection. I think this is a very nice soap stick, but the smell is a bit different.
This is the same hotel as last week. I stopped at the hotel next to this one, and they do it as well and no one could explain why. I give them to my daughter, she loves them.

Tuesday, November 8th Razor: iKon H20 Blade: Gillette Yellow Brush: Thater Porter Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Cream: Tabula Rasa Lavender A/S: Speick The Tabula Rasa cream is really growing on me and I always get a great shave when I use it. Today's shave was no exception. I think the key to Tabula Rasa is to lather it as you would a soap, directly in the tub. YMMV
Tuesday Razor: Dovo Best Quality 6/8 Brush: Omega Boar Soap: Tabac A/S: Master Topaz Very good straight razor only shave today. I think I'm finally getting the hang of shaving my neckline! Master Topaz topped the shave off nicely.

Tuesday Prep: Hot shower CD: Luther Allison ~ Bad News is Coming Coffee: Home roasted, fresh ground Ethiopia Illubabor, BLACK Soap: TSD Blue Juniper Brush: Ever Ready 250PB with original knot TTO: '58 Gillette TV Blade: Astra SP, day 2, 3+ passes Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, L'Oreal Comfort Max ASB, SJ Unforgivable, hand strop blade Shave Ratin: 5 Blades Another great shave. Funny (strange), but I have a '58 TV and the "regular" '58, and find I get better shaves from the TV. Anybody else notice the same?
Tuesday's Shower and Shave A long hot hot shower, one of the side benefits of age is your very own weather station. It is a rainy day here in Fort Smith. Choose my Parker Badger to lather MWF. Today's razor choice was my Slim and a Persona Blue. Three passes dialed in at 5. Cold water splash and a splash of Superior 70. I had a wonderful shave that resulted in a superb DFS.

Nice smooth and close shave. Can't complain....except about the dryness in the house. I do have a humidifier on in the bedroom, but that only helps locally.

Tuesday Folks I received a few new products and was eager to incorporate them into my lineup today. Barbasol shaving cream and Pinaud Lime Sec. And now (imagine the voice of Bob Shepherd,) is the batting order Assorted Cold/Hot Wraps EBC Pre-shave with thirty minute marinade Barbasol Cream + Mug Vulfix 404 Mixed EJ89 Ladas (1) Witch Hazel Nivea Pinaud Limesec Bullpen Appearance-TSD Bourbon Vanilla Soap Today's shave was very relaxing, if not as smooth as usual. I had an early am haircut, and popped by the home office for some paperwork, shower and shave. I'm not sure if it was the Ladas or the Barbasol, but things just didn't work as smoothly as usual, and I even had a small weeper, to small for a stypic but still a weeper. While not BBS, I still got close, and the process itself is always a pleasure. Must have milk-a while after my shave my face was still not cool enough so I went for the TSD milk. I must order more. Thanx for reading.
It was a grest shave, truly a blast. And I think the 7 o'clock yellow will make it as my first go to blade.
