my old reliable Parker 22R delivered a shave to me that was magnificent, but I detest the Proraso Green soap. It's only because it was a birthday gift from my uncle, that I'm using it. By the way, I highly recommend the Vifrex gel, it has a great cooling effect, and soothes sensitive skin.

The Treet blade was horrible. Pulled and tugged, harsh and uncomfortable. These go on my do no use list.

 

I see what you mean--I find those blades uncomfortable also.

  [*]Result: It's all in the pressure and the blade angle. Yet, got another BBS shave today with no blood just because I used very little pressure and paid attention to the blade angle as I did my oil/touch up pass. The GEM worked great but for a loose handle. Not loose enough to effect the shave but just a pain everytime I rinsed the razor the handle worked a bit loose. The GEM Peronna blade performed marvelously. That blade looks exactly like the Ted Pella blades so I will see if I can get 5 shaves out of the GEM as I did with the two Pellas I tried. Can't forget to plug the TSD shave cream. The scent is delicious and the lather, well it lathers so nicely. I seem to have a thing for the creams from small vendors like SCS and TSD. Keep up the good work Queen JoAnna.

The Kiss My Face is an attempt to find a more moisturizing AS since the cooler weather is making my face feel drier after I shave. It is pretty heavy, and does not readily absorb, but once it is absorbed, it feels good and non-greasy. It has a wonderful scent of citrus and lavender and is a nice, natural product.

 

I love that soap dish Rick! Where did you find that?
