      [*]Result: Got a very close near BBS shave today. Decided to take it easy as I have been suffering from major 'blood" due to coumadin and too much blade buffing. So my face was very smooth and I had just two small nicks today. Thanks to my buddy D.Irving79 for getting on my case for abusing myself to get a BBS shave when a near BBS would do most days.

    It smelled great the first day. And than it smelled like overpowering marchiano cherrys. And now I just cant stand the the smell. But I appreciate JoAnna sending me a sample. Beats having a kilo of cream I cant stand.

    Actually, Neale, if I remember correctly you have a fondness for C&E SAO?

    P.160 smells exactly like it. Of course, my sense of smell isn't as refined as yours. :ashamed001

    That is one reason TSD Store sells samples, so people don't have to buy full size products they aren't sure whether they will like or not.

    Thats one reason why the TSD store is wonderful, you being another, and there are others, but that would lead to too much typing. I keep hearing all these wonderful things about C&E but I went to the store in rockafeller center and smelled everything and I just didnt like any of the scents. Even the nomad smelled bad.

    Same with L'occitane. They had a huge sale and the stuff was dirt cheap in the stainless steel bowl and I just couldnt stand the smell.

    Excellent close comfortable shave and the Edge Gel(Eclipse) is very nice. There is no parabens in this product and plenty of aloe vera.

    Blue Monkey did a "Budget Shave" last week, and it got me thinking, I haven't done that in a while... So here it is:

    Plastic Gillette flip top (hefty 6 grams...)
    Red Pack Persona
    Knotty Badger Best (even with a budget shave, I am not going back to a cheap brush)
    Melt and Pour Coolwater soap
    Adidas Sport Fever

    Surprisingly pleasant shave, I was not expecting much from that feather weight razor, but it was gentle and did pretty well, although you could not let the weight do the work.

    Just got the Star razor. Better handle than my ball end tech but shaves the same, gentle and nice. Not as close as my Parker 89r but a good shave nonetheless
