I found a ring last treasure hunting trip, I'm pretty sure is 18k. but the marking is not one I've seen before.

Great Shave, love the smell of the Coconut Bay and the MITA is a real face freezer. coconuts and margarita, just like the islands.

The brush really whips up a great lather too.

 

the first one designates 18k
the second a seagull designates gold
the third is a date code for the year made

I found the first and second, haven't deciphered the third.

 

the third sorta looks like a mouth, or football, with a dot over it

 

I like this handle a lot. I was afraid the factory finish wouldn't hold up so I sanded mine down and refinished it. The socket is quite deep, so there is room for weight. I added several steel washers to fill the bottom of the socket. I like the heft and feel of this brush.

I just re-knotted this handle. I will pay some photos.

Thanks for the tip and to him for posting it for us to read. Like him, I also love menthol, though forsaking it in October.

Menthol Monday
I was in a bit of a hurry this morning, and my tired brain thought - since the 39c is great with two days growth, why not go ATG on the first pass to get the stubble at its highest?
Well, it seems to have worked out well... I don't have any weepers or irritation, though the feeling on my face was not as nice as my usual. I think this will be a one time experiment. Synergy FrostByte never fails me, and Krampert's Frostbite AS is just the perfect way to extend the cold and care for my skin, too.
