Well what a nice shave I got this morning.
Just had to try this baby out seeing it's been setting here for a few days.
I have no complaints about this razor.
Almost matches my GEM Jr for smoothness but seems to make more noise although that is not an issue with me.
    I like :)
    All other things the same.
    Enjoy

Tonight's shave was with a Japanese Razor. I had a very nice 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Two small weepers, but it was my fault. Halloween, and the doorbell was going off. So, I had to run down stairs, and hurry up.

    Razor- Japanese Yama Super Extra.
Brush- JR#262. Ebony/Birdseye Maple. WD Silvertip Badger
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Ships Cannon, Amber Decanter.

I didnt mean everybody. There are some amazing people that work in the medical field and god bless them for what they do, it is certainly not a job i would yake for granted.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20181031_171618.jpg

Prep: Occams Crushed Lime pre shave soap
    Razor: The General
    Blade: Topaz Platinum (1st shave)
    Brush: RR Plissoft
Soap: CBL Cigar Shop Cowboy (sample)
    Post: absolutely nothing!

Was really disaopinted i forgot to bring a Halloween theme setup with me, but have been eyeing this CBL sample and figured todays the day. Scent is leather forward tobacco, opens up quite well once lathered. The CBL soap provided excellent protection so decided to not use any post shave product and see how it goes. Face felt moisturized without being "heavy" if that makes sense. Residual slickness and post shave have been my favorite attributes of this soap thus far. Touch ups were no problem, and the shave went well. No nicks or irritation. Hope everyone has a safe Halloween!

The reason why I didn’t used fragrances, because I was at home all day, didn’t go out just having a peace and quiet relaxing.

That’s not the General SE razor, that’s the Standard DE razor. Otherwise I can tell you’re drinking too much hallowe’en whisky

No offense taken. I've been a hospital RN (cardiology) for 25 yrs. If you don't learn to separate your attachment and emotion from the myriad of humans you encounter, you won't last long in this field. So, if you encounter one (medical professional) that treats you like just another lump of flesh, you might find their clinical skill and insight is focused and accurate. Of course the specific medical discipline in which you work plays a role (pediatrics vs. oncology vs. psych, etc.), but a fair degree of separation is good for both the clinician and the patient. As a rule, it's best the patient seek warm fuzzies and hand holding elsewhere if you're wanting unflinching and high-standard health care. Sounds cold, but it's a reality. I've been on both sides of the bed (patient and medical professional), which has only cemented my understanding. As a vulnerable patient, I seek skill, accuracy, and unclouded insight from the medical professionals treating me, while I'll receive comfort and emotional support from family and friends.

A smooth and comfortable shave this evening. 2.5 pass and back to a clean shaven mug. The GD is just a fantastic soap that very, very few can match from top to bottom on overall performance with a post shave result that is virtually unmatched imho. Have a great evening and awesome shaves Gents.... ;)

Thanks my friend. Yes, the Stache Soapworks is a very good performer. And the owner, Erica is a sweetheart of an individual to deal with. And her splashes for me are just sickingly good. You just don’t know when you can catch her on Etsy. A shame really....
