    This is a lazy picture less day for me.

    Rockwell 6S, Plate 4
    Gillette Silver Blue
    Brandless Badger
    Stirling soap.
    TSD witch hazel
    DR Harris aftershave

    I was a little nervous of using plate 4. I tend to like mild razors, the DE89 is a favourite. As it turns out, with plate 4 this razor was very nice. BBS, comfortable, no weepers. Was it the plate or the blade change, or was it just a better focused day? Last shave was with the 6S on plate 2, with a Wilkinson blade, weepers, discomfort, fair shave. This was a welcome change. I really like this brush although I seem to say that with all my brushes. The soap is terrific. Great scent, great lather, great shave. The witch hazel has become routine. I sure like that stuff. Have a great shave everyone.

    Today's shave
    Hot water wash with nivea mens face wash and a washcloth
    Parker silvertip
    Bombed Route 66 Rum Runner
    Dirty Bird scuttle
    H Boker #226 Our Own 5/8 full hollow spike
    Route 66 Rum Runner balm
    Today's shave was nice. Soft soothing scent of rum runner seems intensified by the warmth of the dirty bird. My softened whiskers had no chance against the boker blade. Three slow passes, left me smooth and comfy. Finished with the matching balm. Soft, warm, smooth, and aromatic.
    Church today, y'all come with me.

    Although my Astra blade is just about kaputt it gave me a great final BBS shave. The OSP Grapefruit Menthol soap lathered like a maniac with the help of my wonderful Plissoft synthetic and gave me a terrific menthol effect which I'd say compares to the regular MITA soap, certainly not the Glacial version. This soap's skincare is about an 8/10 to me, so it's pretty good. Scent-wise, does it smell like grapefruit? To my nose, not really - more like orange but still quite nice. The Skin Bracer aftershave felt cold and awesome. For this upcoming week it'll be my Junjie cheapie DE from China! :happy088: :happy088:
