Tuesday 1 November Continuing the power trip through hotel bathrooms, I proudly present the following. Proraso Preshave balm Wilkinson Sword Stick Omega Boar Travel Brush, face lather Gillette Milord, w/ Big Ben Blue (D2) Alcolado Glacial and Nivea Sensitive Balm This was a nice shave this morning, a really hot shower and the proraso preshave made for nice prep. Pretty smooth as well, three passes and one small touch up, I will give it a DFS. This is my third use of the wilkinson sword stick. It seems to be a bit drying after shaving, but I am reserving judgement since the last time I used this, it felt great later in the day. I also like the funky purple color. The Nivea sensitive is almost empty, and I am debating if I want to replace it. I need something that I can use when I travel, and easy to pick-up at pharmacies. I do have the spiek balm which comes in a travel tube, might give that another shot for winter travelling. No rubber ducky this morning. I swear this kind of stuff always happens to me. Off to get some coffee and breakfast
I've got to try one of those Wilkinson sticks. If the Nivea is readily available, I would stick with that.
Tuesday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Rapira day 6 Florena SC Keri unscented moisturizer Booster Polar Ice AS JHL Cologne Smooth as silk, smelling nice, and ready to shave again tomorrow morning - this razor/blade/cream trio made me look gorgeous. The Florena is so soothing and gentle from the camomile, and the Polar Ice aftershave is a terrific way to finish off a perfect shave. (Just kidding about looking gorgeous!)
Tuesday, November 01, 2011 Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Razor: Progress XL Blade: Ladas Super Stainless Brush: Vulfix 2006 Badger Soap/Cream: Italian Palmolive Menthol A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Speick Balm Even in the colder months, I like an occasional shave with a mentholated product when I need a quick wakeup. Today's shave did it for me--very smooth and refreshing, and I'm also really liking the Ladas blade. I'm going to be outside today on the windy and rolling hills near here, so the Speick balm was called into action, providing a very protective finish.

Johnny, It's a sweet Green Tea scent. I like it very much. I am saving for the A/S and the cologne next. I haven't tried the Verlaine. All the Best, Jesse
I have the verlain and it smells great, though I can't describe the scent. Provence Sante soap lathers quickly and provides a great shave, one of the best veggie soaps IMO.

Tuesday, November 1st Razor: Wilkinson Sticky Blade: Gillette Yellow Brush: Thater Porter Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Cream: Nivea A/S: Klar Sandalwood I received another great shave today. The Nivea cream produces an excellent lather and has great skin conditioning properties. While the scent is a bit lackluster, I can definitely live with it. The Klar Sandalwood is an under appreciated aftershave that is excellent.
Nashville Truck Stop Straight Shave: The Cranford 5/8 EJ Best Badger Arko Stick Brut AS Balm Forgot to strop before i went it this morning, thankfully she still had a decent edge on her. Did a nice 3 pass DFS. Even though the EJ is spinally challenged it's a great face latherer. Other than that all was well, except I grabbed the razor once by the heel and it bit me pretty hard, about a quarter in into my finger. I was going to do a cleanup pass after than but i just decided to finish up that one and call it. Did a smooth 150 laps as soon as I got in the truck

Tuesday Razors: Merkur Futur Blade: Astra (2) Brush: Omega Boar Soap: Tabac A/S: Master Topaz I was tired from staying up too late watching my beloved KC Chiefs beat the San Diego Chargers in overtime so I decided to make today a DE day. Put the Astra I used yesterday in my favorite DE razor and had a near BBS shave in three passes. Topped off the shave with the Master Topaz and my Tuesday was off to a good, if sleepy, start
