Wow, this shave was so much fun and so cold - the Derbylux cream and the Barbon aftershave are 2 fantastic face-freezers from Hungary. The Derbylux lathers insanely rich and creamy, and it smells beautiful, and the skincare is great. The Barbon aftershave is a top favorite of mine. :biggrin:

In the hotel bathroom series I would like to present my next picture. Actually its kind of similar to yesterday's.

This was a very nice shave this morning, a really hot shower and the proraso preshave made for nice prep again. This is my fourth use of the wilkinson sword stick. It feels a bit drying at first, but it left my face feeling great all day yesterday. So my initial impression was wrong. I stilllike the funky purple color. This is a very nice shave stick, the smell is kind of soapy, nothing over the top, kind of nice. Did a three pass shave, with one little weeper under the jaw, time to ditch the blade. I only got three shaves out of the Big Ben Blue (stainless), the first two were very nice and third was ok. Still I will give it a DFS.

Have a nice day, with any luck I will be out of Joliet tonight and back to Jersey for my daughters third birthday. If I miss it my wife will kill me. It will be even worse if I miss the big weekend party for all of the kids.

Whipped out the Schick in celebration of Rodd getting his Astra razor. The shave was amazing and the MWF didn't disappoint. It was also nice because I hadn't shaved for 3 days...too tired the other mornings. I ended up missing a part of my neck on the ATG pass, but I don't care...I'm just glad to be looking decent again!

Very nice shave with the straight today. I substituted the witch hazel I usually use right before the A/S with Booster Iced Limes today because I like the way it makes my skin feel, and it works wonderfully well under the Royall Lyme (Booster scents do not stay around on my skin very long).
