We have two such stores... one didn't have them, the other one did. I got four when I found them, so three are collecting dust right now. Send me your address and I'd be happy to send you one to try out.

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Junjie/Astra day 7
    First Canadian Polar Vortex SS
    Gold Bond Moisturizer
    B&M Arctique AS Splash

Not a Glacial soap but this Polar Vortex still packs a mean menthol punch with great lather, and a good post-shave feeling. I'm so in love with the Arctique!

    Bath Soap - WSP Tobacco

Razor - Vintage Gillette Superspeed circa 1947-1952 (re-plated in nickel by Razor Emporium)
    Blade - BiC Chrome-Platinum
Brush - Vigshaving 26mm Nylon Synthetic
Soap - Cyril R. Salter "Sandalwood" (cream style)
Aftershave - PAA Sagre de Drago
Deodorant - Sam's Natural "Tobacco" (not shown)
Fragrance - Bvlgari Man in Black

The Cyril R. Salter croap is a 10 out of 10 in performance for me. I could be 'maybe' just a tad slicker, but it's not even necessary. The scent is fantastic. It's right on the level of Catie's Bubbles' cream style soap that came before the modern version. This shave and the way I smell are just tops. I think this combination will be a permanent set. I just keep coming back to this combination when I want to put on Bvlgari Man in Black cologne. And the WSP Tobacco soap (sample that he sent) is a perfect match for this shave and cologne. I will be buying yet another WSP bath soap.

Man, I LOVE this setup. The products all match and the brush/razor color theme with those products are STELLAR! And the mug? Wow! That is a fantastic set. I think you could buy the black shave stand by Royal Shave that I own or you could contact Josh of Desire Metal Works and have him hand-make a glossy-black razor/brush stand for this set. I think this set you have is worthy of a hand-made stand. He will even do special 'artistic' requests. You could ask him if he can do an industrial look or something Gothic. I think your set deserves a masterpiece stand.

Thanks to Billy's good work I finally got back to the Rolls. Good shave until I got to my chin where going XTG I couldn't seem to get it right. Takes some practice I guess. For the head shave I used the new Apollo. At about 20g lighter than my version 2 It feels quite different, but with a new Supermax Platinum served up a nice BBS in two passes +. [IMG]

After only one use, I'd say the scent was farily neutral- not polarizing good or bad to me. The lather was fine- thick and slick enough, as are most all soaps now it seems.
My one complaint would be a small tub size. This is the smallest diameter container of any artisan soap I have.

Sometimes something magical happens when lathering like today - SMN contributed to that and is awesome as is this brush - warm badger lather on a cool autumn day . . . and the weeks badgering disappears

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #222 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gillette Aristocrat Birth Year Razor (47) and Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Tonight's shave was with a very nice Solingen made razor. I had a super smooth and noisy 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS, without touch-ups. I had zero issues.

Razor- "Hugo Rader 38", Solingen made.
    Brush- Stirling Boar
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
    Aftershave- Florida Water +.
