    Hello TSD ;)

    My sunday morning shave:

    rdt2509.png

    - Barrister & Mann "Beaudelaire"
    - Maggard Synthetic
    - Gillette Superspeed (1953)
    - Polsilver SI
    - Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser

Two "firsts" here: I had never used this soap and this razor before. The soap, of course, did not disappoint. Performance as good as any B&M - and the scent is fantastic. Don't know why - but I think this Fougere soap smells like fall. A little earthy, a little mossy - a green and brown scent in my humble opinion.

The Superspeed is a nice razor, but I don't think it will become my favorite. A bit too light for my taste ... and I prefer thicker handles. It shaved very well nonetheless - two passes, very smooth face :happy088:

    Have a great day!

Shiver me timbers! This Glacial Eskimo Tuksedo soap is cold! Excellent shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic and this soap performs beautifully while serving up a major arctic blast. Three wonderful chilling passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. :)

Excellent lather as usual from RP today. The Bronze Shadow built and spread this yogurt across my face in soft yet firm comfort. The Futur dispatched my stubble on two passes set on six, leaving no drama. B-M Reserve Cool and Catie's Bubbles QCV splash finished this shave off right.

    Great Sunday shave
    Hot water and pre-lather prep
    L'OCCITAINE Plisson Synthetic
    Bombed Soap Commander Passion
    M.J.Higgins 5/8 half hollow spike
    Crusella&Co Sandalo
    Soap Commander Passion Balm
Today's shave was excellent. The plisson made great cool/warm lather. The offset of the m-bomb with the warmth of the cardamon was nice. Pre-lather prep (@gssixgun prescribed) washed away after stropping. Three passes with my namesake razor. It's sharp, heavy, and quiet. It completely obliterated and stubble leaving me absolutely smooth. For the most part, pretty comfy. I finished the show by allowing Sandalo to dry while maintaining my razor, then a rubdown of passion balm.
hope y'all did as well, or better. 20160925_075149_resized.jpg 20160925_072654_resized.jpg lather nearly optimal (badger worthy, lol)

Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
    Pre shave - Proraso
    Razor – Barbaros TR-1
    Blade – Astra S/P
Brush - 'Mama Chub' (Chubby 2 Two Band)
Soap – OSP Eucalyptus + Menthol
    Post - Witch Hazel

due to a change in my shifts, I didn't have time for a 'real' shave on Thursday, and had to use a cartridge, and shave butter (headshave setup)..So, you can imagine my delight, having just had a wonderful shave with the Barbaros + Astra S/P combo...yeah, that's put things right...

SOTD: Early Sunday morning shave with the first use of this old Sheffield-made F. Fenney 'Tally Ho' 5/8". I picked this up for $16 off ebay (lousy photos do help keep auction prices low :D), and this old razor (early/mid 1800s) has some evident toe wear but still takes a killer edge off the hones. I re-pinned the original back horn scales. Plenty of miles left to go on this razor! Pre de Provence soap, Omega Pro 48 and Pre de Provence 'Sage' Shea butter balm to finish.
