The memory of yesterday's shave still haunts me, but today's shave was a turn-around--smooth, comfortable, and BBS. I've been on somewhat of a Salter roll the past few days--I really like the creams and this soap is also very nice. The PdP balm provided a very compatible and pleasant finish.

 

I think they are really good blades. Mild enough so I don't destroy my skin, but sharp enough to give nice, close and smooth shaves.

Planned on using MWF after all the talk around the board about it lately, so I had it ready and waiting after taking my shower, only to realize today was Menthol Monday.

Boom, M-Bomb to the rescue! The $9.00 Shea Moisture Brush whipped up a lovely bowl full of Wool Fat goodness with the great tingle of menthol, and for some reason this Derby blade just keeps on going like the Energizer Bunny!

Great music, great lather, and a great shave = 5 Blades today!

Lab Series promoted to my favorite AS-unscented (a plus for me)
and leaves my face smoother than anything else I've used. Particularly good
for my post-Str8 shaves when my face needs a bit more TLC. I'll do a formal review of this-one day. It ain't cheap but a little goes a very long way.

Man oh man, I love this Solo Menthol cream--just a little bit on a wet brush, and you get your face buried in a mountain of some of the richest and creamiest lather around. I also find the scent a delight, because it reminds me of summer. The cooling effect is light, and it starts to take hold during the 2nd pass. The Barbon aftershave is a wonderful face-freezer!

I don't often get a dome shave in the middle of the week but I was feeling froggy this morning so away I went. Result BBS face and dome, great shaves both. The rose cologne provided a nice finish. I'm smelling very victorian and feel as if I should wear a bowler to work. Mr. Paul Potts on tunes this morning doing an amazing opera version of an old R.E.M. tune (Everybody Hurts)
