Nice shot, and beautiful brush. One day I'm gonna get a really nice 26mm lemon drop in a MF or Simpson or comparable maker.

    Razor: Gillette Atra Handle
    Cartridge: Western Family (6)
    Lather: Equate can (Walmart)
    AS: Mennen AFTA/ Old Spice
    Dog: ??

Great 2 pass, WTG/ATG, extra thin foam on neck only. Smooth, but not as smooth as the `Guard`. A couple weepers, I think I need to oil the handle (snags).
But all in all, next to a BBS shave. Happy Camper here, wishing great shaves for all. God Bless.

    Bill

A very changeable day ,weatherwise, the last throes of summer?
A very nice summery shave was the order of the day.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

Ok, this Nocturne is weird stuff. Lather and slickness are excellent. Scent - well, very odd and unusual. Granted that this is a first use impression, but imagine pulling a charred log out of the fireplace, wetting it, and then sprinkling it with a little cinnamon. Spicy wet charred log. Very little, if any apple. I couldn't bring myself to use the aftershave, so I fell back on my "go to" apple scent, Summer Break's Teacher's Pet. The Rockwell R1 performed exceptionally well, as I've come to expect.

Razor: Alumigoose w/ iKon Bamboo Handle
    Blade: Feather Professional
Brush: El Druida Mopane 2 Band Badger.
    Soap: Stirling Eucalyptus Mint
    A/S: Stirling Eucalyptus Mint

One more 2 pass shave with the slightest of clean up for a near BBS. I really like the iKon Bamboo handle. It is very easy to grip and has good weight for lighter heads like an alumigoose. This brush is a beauty.
Colophospermum mopane, commonly called mopane, mophane, mopani, balsam tree, butterfly tree, and turpentine tree. It is a tree that grows in hot, dry, low-lying areas, 200 to 1,150 metres (600 to 3,770ft) in elevation, in the northern parts of South Africa. The tree only occurs in Africa and is the only species in genus Colophospermum. It's distinctive butterfly-shaped leaf and thin seed pod make it easy to identify.
