First time with the V1, it looks like a cross between the General and the Mongoose, not as pretty/slinky as the General and not quite as utilitarian as the Mong.
The shave, I was quite impressed, I found it easier to use under the jawline than the Mong and ended up with a DFS+.
I'll try it tomorrow on a less unwieldy handle and see if it can become as manoeuvrable as the General.
    Happy Shaving one and all.
  5. It's just an f-type. I just polished it. To keep this color, I wipe it down with a polish cloth about once per week. It's just copper (not gold). If you let it tarnish and patina, it turns almost maroon like any copper. In other words, you've probably seen this razor frequently, but you're just not used to seeing it polished.

  7. That is brilliant! Out of curiosity, how do you compare the shaving experience to a full size blade?

    Bunny V3 Injector
    Schick Proline B20 Blade

    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #319 brush. I did two passes with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor with a Schick Proline B20 Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Soap: CRSW Jeff's Soap
    A/S: Myrsol F/Extra

Cocobolo is a tropical hardwood of Central American trees belonging to the to the genus Dalbergia . Only the heartwood is used; this is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood.
The Mongoose handle was made by a machinist who is a prototype machinist so more about accuracy than finish, which is why I hand polished them so they aren't perfect.
The heavy one (SS) is modelled on the Futur, the idea being to add mass to the end of the handle to make it less head-heavy. The aluminum one was my design to see if I could make a lighter razor without making it hard to control hence the greater diameter. Purchased from Paul at ATG from England.

A great 2 passes with a clean up and I'm ready to go, however, I forgot where I have to go. :happy102:
