Nice video! I have both the Speick cream and Speick Active. Along with the aftershave. All good product. Thanks for posting!
Thanks, Darkbulb. I tried to describe it as best I could, but that's the best I could do. It's cheap, and a great cream.
Both the soap and the cream is top notch quality lather. Scent wise they're not equal, though one would expect that, but both smell really nice. Great vid!
Speick Cream is an excellent one especially for the price. The only way I could describe the smell would be a very fresh, pleasant, medicine smell almost.
Valerina celtica(speick plant), only found in the Alps, is a fragrance that can only be defined by itself. Medicinal, peppery, and patchouli-like with undertones of lavender. The cream contains beeswax which I find quite unique, and may contribute to the glide and protection. Love this stuff. INGREDIENTSWater, Potassium Stearate, Potassium Palmitate, Potassium Cocoate, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate,Sodium Palmitate, Cera flava (Beeswax), Sodium Cocoate, Cetyl Palmitate, Potassium Myristate, Sodium Myristate, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender Oil), Valeriana
This is the Green One? If yes, nice cream, not sure I like it coming out of the tube Green. But other than that nice product. ( hand picked by Heidi in the Alps)
Yeah, I think there's a love/hate thing going with the scent, but I quite like it. Even if I didn't care much for it, it is not overpowering at all, at least to my nose.
Personally, I get none of the 'dirt-covered body odor' note that I associate with patchouli. I pick up lavender-like notes with lots of what I think of as 'green notes.'
You are certainly not alone. Many wet shavers whom I have shared this with, completely disagree with my patchouli-like assessment.
I get that as well, but there is an earthy, maybe even kind of mossy scent in there as well. At least to my nose. I like it a lot.
