Just tried some St James of London Cedarwood & Clarysage Real Shaving Comapny product] shave cream [£4, $6] and I must say it is superb. Fresh 7oC yellow blade and shave was great.

Found it better than Proraso that is my cream to go at the moment.

Nice to have a glass container for a change as well.

Anyone else tried this before, and if so, verdict?

I also bought Real Shaving Company menthol shave cream [wasn't too impressed with that one] and a standard one [yet to try].

    Cheers.

The Natural Grooming Co., The Real Shaving Company and St James of London are all brand names of Creightons.

Creightons also make the creams for many other English brands, some of which are a lot more expensive.

I think the St James of London is slippery when wet. So be careful so it will never hit the floor. Besides this an excellent cream.

I like st James of London Post shave Gel it is very soothing. I have the shave cream but don't like the idea of not needing a brush to apply it so have not tried it yet.
