Not really my thing, but anybody needing a little extra morning pick-me-up may enjoy it. Available at: http://wetshavingproducts.com
Never thought about a coffee scented shave soap, but since I'm a WSP fan, and a huge coffee lover, I might have to give this a try.
Well, I spilled some Starbucks on myself at work this morning. That scent sure does linger. I love the smell of coffee, but not in my face.
That was my first thought as well. It will be interesting to see what happens when Fivebucks gets wind of this.
As an FYI, Mama Bear soaps has had a coffee-scented shave soap (glycerine based) for ages. Made with real espresso.
I live in Seattle - that stuff permeates our environment! Though I do love the aroma, I don't need to add to it!
From the Shave Den Shop scent descriptions: Jelly Doughnut - fried dough, sugar, vanilla, and strawberry
I have a sample of B&M Leviathan which has coffee notes to it, but not sure about a pure coffee scent. WSP makes great soaps/aftershaves and the scent does sound interesting. Tim's soap has a Breakfast Of Champions that is also a coffee scent that is relatively new.
My idea of a cup of coffee is a cup of "Black Coffee" that will take the "Lead Based Paint" off the side of a U.S. Navy Ship (down to bare metal) 2 fathoms below the water line. I don't buy coffee at Starbucks aka Sixbucks Coffee. I wonder how much WSP is going to get stuck paying Royalty Fees?
I'm a big coffee drinker but not sure how I would like a coffee scent in my shave soap. Well if Starbucks was on board the green woman logo would be on the label. It would be cool if Starbucks went along and I could pick up a tub of WSP soap at my local store.
Mystic Waters sent me a sample of "Cuppa Joe" with my last order. I thought it would not be my thing but I like it a lot. I usually prefer more traditional scents. Would definitely get a puck of this as it is also a great performer.
JoAnna sent me a sample of her coffee soap years back. Not bad, but smelled like coffee with cream and sugar. Scent aside, it lathered up and performed like all the rest of her soaps - TOP NOTCH! I drink my coffee black, and yes, adding cream drastically changes the scent. I prefer the smell of black coffee.
