Had to move this thread here. Here is my two and a half year olds den. He has two razors, a shave brush, a shave bowl, two things of shave cream, (I don't let him see the foam soap come out of the can. I just put it in his shave bowl so he isn't used to canned goo lol) mirror, comb, tooth brush, cup. Nice little started kit for a toddler. He loves shaving too. He must think he is going to have a hairy forehead because he shaves that too lol. So proud.
That's a cool pic. Yeah my son loves watching me shave. So I take that soap foam put it on his brush and he brushes all over his head lol. Then takes his fake razor and just shaves away. It's a lot of fun.
As I told someone else recently, enjoy them and these moments for they grow up faster than you think!
The last time I shaved my mustache off was when my oldest son, now 23, was about 18 months old. He was watching me shave and said, "Shave your mustache." So I said okay and shaved it off. He took one look at me and said, "Shave it back!" He refused to look at me until I grew it back. That was a long few days!
I gave my 4 yr old (now 6) a brush, mug, soap and a FT Rocket (NO blade in it). He does it up proper, still "shaves" in every bath, but his technique has much improved!
I let my 10 year old use a 1976 Black Beauty that the adjuster doesn't work. That is his razor and he lets me know it. Before he gets too much older I will have to find a Black Beauty that works properly.
Great idea, love it. Where did you find them, I take the blades out and let junior play shave like my grandfather did with me but this will get them much more interested in the art of shaving.
The jake one came from walmart during Christmas as one of the gift sets. Walmart sells a two pack of Mr Bubble foam that comes with one fake razor as well. quote="Ceferguson, post: 781410, member: 11318"]Great idea, love it. My 20 month old daughter found my brush in the drawer for the first time about a week after I first got it. She always likes rubbing it on her face. This past weekend she was doing that and I decided that I would whip up smome lather for her. She loved having it on her cheeks and belly.
