I just wanted to post about my experience with this product. I read a review of Stephan Cream and the reviewer loved the stuff but did not like the fact that it is non foaming. This gave me an idea to try it as a preshave cream before using my favorite soap, my barber had a tub for $3 so it would be a cheap experiment. Well after 3 days of shaving this way I have found the Stephan's to work beautifully. I applied it before both of my 2 passes and the shave were great. Stephan's cream has super moisterizing benefits which seems to last all day, now my post shave consists of a cold water rince follwed by an alcohol after shave. The past 3 days I have skipped using a balm and my face feels great. Bob
Bob, thanks for the comments; Do you find this to soak in/or rinse off easily? I have the Lucky Tiger "Molle" and its pretty thick, wouldn't get a brush anywhere near it after I've smeared it on.
It easily rinses from off the brush. I just rub into my beard using my hands and let that soften my whiskers while a get the brush and shave soap ready.
