You know, with all the talk of cheap scents and products like Brut, AV, old spice, etc... where has the stetson gone? i mean i may be alone here, but i love the smell of stetson... how come nobody has toyed with the idea of making a shave soap/cream that smells like it? im sure stetson already has an aftershave, but... being stetson... im sure an a/s connoissuer around here that makes it can formulate a product that smells the same and performs better... or is the stetson scent long lost among men these days? i dont care... i love the stuff lol its one of few over the counter scents that is truly unique in every way... know what i mean?
It's all about what you like and what smells good on you. I personally haven't tried Stetson since I was 16.
same here... its been a while... i still have a bottle of the cologne from way back then, but its cologne, not aftershave... and im not sure if age would ruin it lol cuz its definitely old... but yeah, its an old scent for sure... but its sweet/woodsy... very masculine scent to it without going toward the deoderant/soapy smell of colognes like adidas, aspen, cool water, etc... if you havent tried it joe, i suggest you do if you like AV, you may like this stuff.
Dude, its not only Stetson that is a good one. We gots Canoe British Sterling English Leather Joop Polo Jovan Musk Their are so many cheep EDC at the Drugstore that are good its not funny. Lots of people associate it with the "old man smell" but are you going to say that Steve Mcqueen, Lee Majors, Lee Marvin, Burt Lancaster, "THE DUKE" Clint Eastwood, etc weren't real men?
To rick... my apologies for the blasphemy :rofl none intended to mottern, yeah there are a few out there, im not much of a fan of english leather, joop, jovan, british sterling or even polo... polo sport i have, but its nowhere near my favorite... one of a few reasons why? i have a bottle of nautica competition... and they could double as twins in scent i swear to god lol english leather? nah... not my thing... smells good though, but i like my scents a bit more sweet, and woodsy... ever get a whiff of givenchi pi? i love that stuff... same with candies... candies is THE.... pimp juice... women love that stuff
yeah i was about to get an HB soap scented in drakkar, but i ended up going with a tube of Mr Taylor instead lol ill definitely give drakkar a chance... aramis? i dunno... if i find some lol round here, drakkar is damn near sold at the gas stations...
the only problem with AV is it doesnt HAVE a cologne.... and it doesnt last long enough to wear as a cologne... but yes, AV is pimp juice for after the shave :rofl
i stand corrected.... BUT ive never seen it, which means im unable to buy it without paying twice its value in shipping and waiting a month to get it... lol
You're right about that, its not easy/cheap to get. AFAIK, this is only made/sold in Spain. The smell is incredible, :drool
