If you think that's wild. I am thinking of getting this to store my brushes. What do you think? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Met...675?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3383ed203b
What a BIG difference in size...either is the Wee Scott really tiny or the Chubby is a real "Fat" boy...Holy Moly!!!
I've mentioned several times on the forums that an old stamp holder would make an ideal brush holder. I've been trying to find a decent looking one for under $20 with no luck. That's not a bad price. The Wee is a special case. It's a display of the brush master's art, not a dedicated travel brush. Simpson's makes a travel brush; it is bigger than the Wee Scot. That being said, most people who buy the Wee Scot purchase it for a travel brush, though it often finds its way into their regular rotation.
Simpson does make a travel case. It is a little large for the Wee Scott. http://www.simpsonshavingbrushes.com/cgi-bin/trolleyed_public.cgi?action=showprod_CASES I saved 4.95 pounds by using a small empty prescription bottle. I simply drilled a hole in the bottom and another in the cap. It took 5 minutes and was free. Works beautifully. I also made one for a Palmolive Shave Stick. If you want can include a picture
Thanks! The Walgreens bottle really puts the size of the brush front and center. It'll take up little Dopp space for sure.
