My appologies in advance if you put this in the wrong spot, but I can't seem to figure out where it goes. Please feel free to move it to where it belongs.

What do you think is the best way to store your wet shaving hardware? At the present time I have them hanging out stacked next to each other in the medicine cabinet. I may need to find a new way to store them. How do you recommend that I accomplish this?

I am not sure what you are specifically referring to but I have all my razors in the bathroom closet in a basket. I keep my straights group by maker US, Sheffiled and Germany. In the bathroom area I keep all my soaps and creams as well as my brushes. AS's, Cologne and Edts's are also on a shelf in the bathroom closet. I pull the straight I willause every morning and after use Ileave out to air dry and put it up when I get home in the afternoon. Brushes are cleand and let air dry inthe bathroom counter.

Where anything will fit. You see my shave locker? That's just one place. :D

DEs: On a belt and tie rack from Target mounted to the bathroom wall.

Straights: On the edge of the scales, standing up in a row on a shelf in the bathroom (oddly enough, also by makers, US, German, and England/Sheffield). One 4/8 I don't use as much is in the box/coffin, and one (W&B 7/8 notch point) is in a leather case I made (it's too heavy to sit on the scales).

Brushes: On a shelf on their bases, except for my C&E best badger (I have a stand for it).

Soaps/creams, etc.: In a bin on the shelf in the bathroom.

I hang my brushes to dry (w/props to Tony S. for this idea )
All this, and MORE, goes on in a cabinet bought from target, as well.

Thanks, this is exactly what I am talking about. Anyone use a toothbrush holder. My bathroom has one mounted on the wall, too small for most toothbrushes these days, but I am thinking of getting one for my double edges.

    JB:
I have a really cool pewter Toothbrush holder I leave on my sink.
3 holed....1 for an old toothbrush I use for razor cleanup, 1 hole for my razor to rest in, 1 hole for looks.
I use the innards to store my old blades.

Anyone use a plastic storage book from a national retailer such as A Place for Everything?

I love the belt and tie rack for DE's.
Right now they just clutter up my dresser.

new pic of old spoon rack

This is an updated picture of a wooden spoon rack that I picked up on ebay for about $20 with shipping. It now adorns the wall in my bathroom. The little drawer holds all the blades.

I had a small security issue recently with my straights, so now they live in a locked petty cash tin in the top drawer of my vanity. Brushes, creams etc, just fit around that. Strop hangs from the towel rack.

Thats a superb set-up Johnnie. But you need 8 more brushes to balance the
    razor selection !!!
