Straight Razor Boxes

    OK, I'm bored. 15 work days until I retire. My students in Engineering class always do a packaging project. Design a package for some product, draw a stretch out and make the package. A couple of my girls didn't know what to do so I suggested a razor coffin. They didn't want to tackle the coffin shape so they went for the regular box. Not too bad. They declined to be photographed with their project. It took nine different parts but it worked out. I think the A+ is the grade they wanted. :D

    That looks great! I was actually thinking of this just this morning, how to modernize the razor box. It would be nice with some "new designs", and the best way is to start with the classic, and then redefine it!

    They definitely deserved an A! So do you for sharing!

    cool design, very safe approach to the subject.
    I would have used oak or some other type of wood.

    First off: Congratulations on your pending retirement! I hope you enjoy it to the fullest!

    Those are some pretty cool boxes. Must have a good teacher!
