I'm going to attempt to bring one of my antique shop finds (a 7/8 W&B) back to life. I figure I can make the scales and the wedge, but where do I find pins? I love the look of the bulls-eye pins, but can't seem to find them anywhere (or any others, for that matter). Anyone have any sources?

    Thanks!!

    Hello,

    Rods can be bought here:

    http://www.smallparts.com/products/descriptions/zrb.cfm

    or

    http://www.texasknife.com/vcom/index.php?cPath=35_627_634

You'll want the 1/16 stock..I think they have it in either brass or silver :)

    Washers can be purchaed here:

    http://www.microfasteners.com/catalog/products/WAS.cfm

And also are available in brass or silver.....you want the #0 for use outside the scales and the #0wide for the inside between the blade and the inside of the scales.....

As for the domed washers, they are handmade....I do not know a source to buy them, but you can buy the die and punch set here:

LOL, Walmart should carry it....the profit margin is probably too low though....

If you want silver color you will need to order Stainless as that is the silver option in the washers anyway...

    Oh yea....

They have some other little toys like Jewlers Anvils and hammers too ;)

I have bought pins here at razor-handles.de.
Besides making great scales they also sell bulls-eye pins. Check them out.

Thanks, Leon. Trouble is, there appears to be no pricing or online ordering. The pins do look nice though. I sent an email to inquire.

I ordered a set of 8 pins (for 4 handles) for 5 Euros and they were kind enough to send me an extra pair.
I don't know if the bulls-eye are more expensive.
