I keep seeing threads about stropping a DE to extend the life, and was wondering if this would work for a SE blade. As I understand the process, it relies on the blade conforming to the shape of your forearm while stropping. I am not sure if this would work for the SE, as it has the spine. Would you use newspaper, leather or is the heel of the hand enough? Just thinking that I am getting 2-4 shaves per blade, and wondering if this could be extended?

Dave has a video on you tube about how to use the heel of the hand. He says that it is a good thing

:ashamed001 I should have known he would be all over that. Linky? Nevermind, I found it. I was thinking you would need to strop much more than that. At least this won't lead to any AD's!
