What are some of your favorite summer scents for soaps and Aftershaves?
    For me it's
    1. Bayrum
    2. Sandalwood
    3. Lime
    4. Citrus (Citronella) Arko Williams
    5. Eucalyptus

My top scents do not change with season. Aqua Velva ice blue is usually top of the list.

While I can respect that I cannot agree with you there while I don't dislike AV it's not in my top scents either. I do like the cooling menthol in the summer though.

Facts although some people take disagreement quite personally.

Not me..Not on scents anyway. I can not help it if you do not like the good stuff.

Plus I really can't think of anything more subjective than scent when it comes to shaving. I mean a blade is either sharp or it's not. A soap either performs or it doesn't but scent there really isn't a wrong answer.

It's the powdery smell on the dry down that gets me. Not a fan of powdery scents. At least there's more to AV Clubman is off of my list by default due to the powder! I would love to get my hands on some European AV it's supposedly closer to the original scent much cleaner smelling.

While I know many folks do, I don't "seasonalize" my scents.

So what blades have you found that lather up best? ;):p

    From my meager collection...

Warm/hot: Avon Tai Winds and Windjammer, Stanley Home Products Islander and Points North, as well as Brut, Stetson Country, and Beene's Bowling Green. And anything lime.

Cool/cold: Avon Deep Woods, Excalibur, Leather, Oland and Imperator, also E.L., One Man Show, Coty Wild Woods, and Preferred Stock.

Old Spice, British Sterling and Avon Blue Blazer, year round imo.

Do I follow this layout consistently? Not at all.
