Antique store find today. I ran across this E-2 1959 Fat Boy today. They wanted $60.00 for it then they said $30.00. I talked them down to $20.00 and bought it. I took it home sanitized it with anti bacterial soap with a soft tooth brush and hot water. Then a quick Isopropyl alcohol spray followed by a wipe down with a non abrasive yellow Jewlers cloth followed by a lubing with mineral oil. The razor is in great shape no pitting and the original Nickel finish is in great shape. What a lucky find to add to my vintage razor collection. I Love it… Lol It cleaned up nicely.. With the Gillette Fat Boy much like my Gillette Slim razors I find it to be fantastically smooth and a great shaver. I love the Gillette adjustable razors because I can just dial them down for my sensitive neck area for great shaves. Also I can just dial them up for longer beard growth. I know I am preaching to the quire here as most already know this. This is the main reasons why I love all the Gillette adjustable razors so much in every model. Added to this posting * A quick add on. I paid $15.00 for my 1964 Gillette Sim in the pic below about a year ago next to my just acquired 1959 Fat Boy that I just payed $20.00 for. I picked up both razors in the same antique shop. I feel so blessed and lucky to have gotten these razors for the prices I did considering there like new condition after a quick cleaning. The Slim also cleaned up pretty much the same way as the Fat Boy did. Both razors look like new condition now. Both are fantastic shavers. Happy Shaves to All, Bill G
