I favor shave sticks for travel. If I'm going to take one along, I prefer that it be completely contained in a push-up type container. If I'm going to be using the same soap for a week or two, I'd rather that it be Arko than Tabac. So I removed the Tabac from this stick, grated it into a mug, and pressed some Arko into the container instead. Now hopefully that hefty looking container won't arouse the TSA's suspicions somehow. I've also got a Speick stick in a now empty D.R. Harris shave stick tube, but it hasn't worn down far enough yet to let me screw the cap on. You can buy empty shave stick containers from WCS, and I believe Mama Bear's as well, but I like that Tabac tube.
Sheesh. I thought you were gonna say you grated Arko and Tabac together. Great idea, though. I found that I personally prefer Tabac in the bowl and Arko in the stick for sure.
