Picked up a tub of Tabula Rasa from Lee at LeesRazors.. I believe Lee is the exclusive distributor of this interesting Cr-oap.. (not quite a cream and not a hard soap)

I love the scent of the Dark Lavender. There are a few videos out on lathering this product, most of which suggest you start out with palm lathering to work it up. I am guessing because it takes a bit of work and face lathering could take a while..

I am using an almond size bit of product. Tried lathering with the Semogue 2010 LE Badger but that didn't work out well.. It was way too soft to break down the dollop of product so I switched to a boar... Used both the Semogue 2010 & 2011 LE Boars which worked well but even with a fairly large dollop of product I am getting only enough lather for one and a half passes..

I am not ready to give up on this lather as it is a real nice scent and the shave is cushioned and comfortable. Any one using it with success?

MikekiM, I've never used Tabula Rasa but I have used a bunch of "croap" type products. Try loading your brush like you would a soap, directly from the container, then go to your face or bowl to lather.
