Wow. When I got the Feather SE blades with Pauldog, the company threw in a sample of their big "F-system MR3 Neo" cartridge shaver. It's something else. Three wire wrapped blades with a crazy "metal roller" to "press the face" (I can't figure out what good that's supposed to do) and plastic "fins" which apparently pull the hair out before it gets to the blades. All I can think is, it's gotta get clogged up pretty fast. I'm tempted to try it anyway, cause I like free stuff. And the handle is surprisingly heavy...
The MR3 is the best cartridge razor I've ever used. It's what I shaved with before I picked up a DE (about 8 years ago) and I still use it now and then. Only needed two passes on my face and neck with it; more than that and I'm just shaving bare whiskerless skin.
Really? Hmmmm... Well, apparently the "Neo" includes a tuned blade angle and, well, the roller. Interesting...
