Taylor of Old Bond St. Traditional soap has both a nice pleasant soap and herbal scent. The lather is excellent to superb and is quite thick and creamy. It provides an excellent shave.

The only issue with it is that it has a moderate to pronounced burning feel to it. If you'd don't rinse off the later with water and just towel it off, you'll still fill the burning an hour or so later. I don't know if this is from some astringent ingredient or the soap's PH is high on the base scale. Either way with proper rinsing it shouldn't be a problem unless you have really sensitive skin. I find the same thing with D.R. Harris soap but the DRH doesn't burn nearly as bad.

So bottom line is TOBS is highly recommended.

I may have to buy the Lavender in the wood bowl to get a TOBS bowl.

UPDATE: I no longer have the burning issue described above. Don't know why.
