My brother-in-law is 7 years old, and has had to come over for the past couple of nights. I decided to seize the opportunity to introduce him to my shaving stuff. I showed him how to soak a brush, load a brush, and build a lather. He came back over tonight and wanted to do it himself. I have to say, the little dude is picking up on it pretty fast. We've got to introduce kids to traditional shaving young before they get old enough to shave and think canned goo and cartridges are the only way to go. It's time to restore traditional shaving back to it's glory.
Oh, he also wants to help me break in the VDH brush I got for Christmas practicing his lather. How could I refuse?
Good job teaching him right from the start. Also a nice way to bond, and one he will remember fondly, when he is grown.
I had a Spiderman one. It is a fond childhood memory. I didn't think about that. AJ made his own lather by himself tonight. He did great!
He loved it! One of the first things he told me was, "Brent, I remember how to shave." Lol I actually messed up and gave him to much water and had to show him how to fix it. He even lathered his face
I meant just to play with under your supervision. He's a little young for his own. But.... that might be a good gift for you to give him when he turns 13 or so.
