Ever since I was a tiny kid, I've loved the smell of Noxema. (Yeah, I've been weird for a long time. Some say from birth.) One thing I really miss from the goop days is the Noxema smell. Is there any soap that duplicates it.
Some people say Prep shaving soap smells like Noxzema. Another choice would be something with eucalyptus or camphor ingredients. There are also several soap artisans that offer custom scents so i'm sure you could have someone make that scent which is another option to consider.
I also love the noxema smell so I use it as my face wash as part of my shave prep. Some people use it as a preshave and I also tried this on two ocassions with great success.
Just posted about this, you can use noxema classic cream as a preshave with great results. Smells awesome especially when using proraso eucalyptus and menthol cream.
Sounds like I need to explore the full Noxema product line. I remember my first exposure as a tub of some cold cream type stuff that my mom and aunt used. Then for me it was the canned soap which I don't see on shelves all that often anymore in the stores we frequent. But it sounds like you guys are talking something else altogether.
Regular noxema classic face cleanser, they even sell it in a large tub at dollar general. I also remember my mom using it. Smells amazing, it really makes my shaving experience better, something soothing comforting about the scent and feel.
This Noxzema lather cream was all I used for many years until I went berserk and started buying so many other different creams and soaps. It was and still is my absolute favourite cream. I wish it had never been discontinued because it was so good. I still have six tubes of it left.
Not really. It has a medicinal and kind of a camphor scent with even a bit of a bay rum note. At least to my shnozz.
