I took a Thater knot (26mm) and rehandled it and dropped the loft some. I'll try it out tomorrow morning and see if I want to glue it. upload pictures
That new handle looks much better than the stock one! Lemme know how it works, I've been eyeing Thater brushes for a long time, but many people seem to mention they're not worth the pricetag vs a Simpsons brush or Semogue 2 band.
This is only the second expensive brush I've had all the rest have been homemade. The Simpson Chubby 2 in best only made it 2 shaves before it was gone. That's no reflection on Simpson, it's just that I know what I like. I was very tempted to take the knot out of it too.
Ditto. The knot looks nice and I like the style of your handle better. More importantly, I like the ergonomics better.
