I said it before and I'll say it again. Bidwatcher. Ebay sniper software. Best stuff out there and its free.
I hear you Wedge, but I'm still using up an EZ Sniper account. Anyway, this one was not such a big deal. What I really want is this version of a Gem in the silver "cigarette case".
Account? With Bidwatcher there is no account. Your account is your ebay account. You place snipes on the stuff and let the program go to work for you. Easy sqeezy nice and cheesy.
Sorry you lost out. I use esnipe.com It's not free, but I've won pretty much every auction. Just a thought.
I use bidnapper.com. They charge by time or by number of snipes. I got a one year subscription then bought so many razors that the Bidnapper fee was next to zero. :ashamed001 Next I bought a batch of snipes. When they run out, I plan to quit EBay. My wallet can't take it. I like it because it run on their server, so my comptuer doesn't have to be on and connected to the 'net. Also, they sync their clocks with EBay to get an accurate snipe time.
I'm not the most tech-savvy guy in the world. How does this differ from adding your max bid to e-bay and having it do it? How high does the sniping software go? How do you not get out-bid by anyone with a higher max?
Bidwatcher allows you to place a "snipe" that can take place as close as 1sec before the auction closes. You put in one "bid" and it is not placed until 1 sec or what ever your time is. You can also adjust the amount based on the current bids. So if the bids exceed the snipe amount, just reset it to a higher amount. Do not bid then set a snipe because you'll snipe yourself. This is designed as a stealth system. Hide then kill. No charge and they sink with ebay and your ebay account. So all those things that you are watching appear on the bidwatcher screen.
