I've decided we're simply having too many bad days here. I certainly don't want to keep anyone from sharing troubles, but I wanted to start a totally positive thread. I'm going to make it a goal to post at least one positive thing every day and encourage all willing to join me. FYI - Negative posts in this thread will be moved or deleted! So, let me start with today: 1) I accomplished the tasks I planned to finish and more at work today. 2) I had a nice walk with the wife, daughter, and MIL this evening. 3) I'm getting more and more excited about the Boulder Bolder.
This is a super idea Erik and here's a quote from the good Dr. Suess to start things off on an optimistic foot .."And will you succeed? Yes indeed! Yes indeed! Ninety-eight and three-quarters percent guaranteed!"...
I did have great interactions this morning with my plasma-truck driver! He is always a joy to talk to!
10 - 11 + __? Just kidding (it's a negative, get it?) I'll echo and say great idea Erik....hmmm, I guess I woke up this morning - that's something, right? EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot...I made Micah laugh today! That was cool
Since I came back to work a couple of weeks ago, just about every day my wife texts me a picture of our 2 month old with a little caption that says something like, "hi Daddy" or what have you, and today was no exception. It always makes me smile.
Great idea, Erik! I slept on until the alarm clock woke me. A good night's sleep & a silly dream on top!
Minesota Vikings are getting a new stadium! The bill just passed the state legislature and the governor will sign it as he was the biggest proponent of the bill in the first place.
My new lab coat came. And it is monogrammed with my name in chemical symbols. (Handily, my last name has a chemical element in it.)
good things that happened today: 1. took my wife and less-than-72-hours-old-daughter to two appointments today. 2. the daughter is healthy and happy! 3. she's also very sleepy, after all the excitement of the appointments. 4. my mother-in-law arrived to help out around the house. my m-i-l and I get along well and she's arriving at just the right time.
Very clever. Now let's see how many people call you AGG-man. LOL. Oh, and I assume the "S.E." stands for Single-edge-shaver?
Being a Professional Chemical Engineer, I immediately smiled. Wonderfull lab coat, you should be proud of it.
