The formula they discontinued when they changed to the maca root. I think it was a much better cream. I still have some of it.
Gotcha. Sorry I missed that but the Maca is pretty good stuff I think. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I recently was given a sample to try. I did not like the scent at all when it came out. I am going to give it another try thanks to @BaylorGator .
I used it this morning for the first time. I had no complaints at all about the lather, very easy to build. The scent is not offensive to me at all, but not a make-your-head-spin awesome either. It is very much a natural field/garden type scent.
I used mine for the first time a couple of days ago. I like the scent. It comes across as kind of a clean barbershop scent to me, and mixed well with Fine American Blend. Performance was quite good, to the point that it's one I would probably replace (at that price) when it runs out. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
It's a very great product. I haven't used it in a long time, but I got fantastic shaves with it. With or without a brush, it didn't matter.
Technically, there is two. They discontinued the maca root. The stuff I saw at the body shop last weekend was maca root with aloe.
Yes. The container is now black instead of blue, and has an inverted shield type logo in white, with the words, "softening maca root shaving cream with aloe vera" in big letters across it. The other colors are grey and a greyish sage, I think? Look nothing like the old tubs, except in size and shape. I would say that the newer tubs are more gender neutral in design, not that the old tubs were really masculine.
