I know that steel stays sharper if it is not exposed to hot water, it makes the steel expand and makes it dull, when I was using march 3 cartridges I always used hot water in the face and cold water on the shaver, I could make a blade last for weeks this way. Now I am a newbie DE razor and found that the DE glides better when I use hot water on the razor to rinse it, but when I have the technique down I will definitely try the hot water in the face and making lather, and cold water to rinse the blade routine again to see if the blade stays sharper this way.
I know I want to try cold water shaving. But Im not sure about it. I kind of like the feeling of the heat and relaxing feeling it gives. I know Some day is not a day, but I'll try it some day soon haha!
I have no idea! I've never thought of the way I shave as being "cold water shaving" I'd say my only variable would be I soak my brush (non-synthetic) in warm water.
You don't keep your cream in the refrigerator? Tch. Tch. Tch. Do you know that all hockey teams keep their pucks in a freezer? How about you?
Nope. But I did know that hockey teams kept their pucks frozen. I keep ice cubes, ice cream and meat in the freezer. The day I try to put a puck of soap in, I'll be moving in with you
