I recently started using the Gillette Fusion Manual. I really like the shavings until now. I am curious whether I will be able to use it for the following years (and the Fusion ProGlide Manual as well), or they will discontinue them? I hope not, because I really like them, and as far as I know, they are Gillette's bestsellers. What do you think? Thank you.
I would hardly see why Gillette would get rid of one of it's high profit margin makers even if they have more tricked up versions.
Thank you for the reply! Another question: Are the Fusion (Manual) and the ProGlide (Manual) razors and cartridges available in the UK (London), because when I enter the UK version of the Gillette website, only their Power versions are available? Thank you.
Maybe a Euro or U.K. member might be able to answer this question. Most users on this site do not use 4 or 5 blade cartridge razors but we have a couple that do.
All fusion cartridges will work with fusion handles, power, proglide or plain fusion. Gillette may discontinue the razor but blades keep coming out, as evident by the availability of the sensor and Mach 3 carts.
No, but I wish they would discontinue them. In all seriousness, all the carts are the same. The only thing that separates the models is the name. That alone should let you know you're getting ripped off.
Gillette has never discontinued any of their cartridge razors. They're not going to risk losing any of the revenue. They still make their tracII handles, just not for the U.S. market though.
If the razor is discontinued, does it really matter? It sounds like you have the razor already, so all that is needed is the cartridges. I doubt the cartridges will disappear anytime soon.
