If I may be so bold - April's haul thread is herewith opened. Here's my ever so small contribution to Canada's GDP and support to two of your soap artisans: Desperado from Soapy Bathman and Fall's Lumberjack (I know, it's spring...) from Henri et Victoria. Served to me by a rep of Little People -- and they came with two coffees apparently
I weakened. I got my first Reef Point Aftershave, Submariner. It is great, both scent and performance-similar to WSP Rustic Mahogany. I also picked up another tin of WSP Rustic original vegan soap-Blackbeard (used up my Mahogany). I also got the Mahogany in the new "T" tallow version. I want to compare the two. Today my second RazoRock/Zenith brush arrived-HMW 24mmx57mm. The Chubby Extra Silvertip at 28mmx51mm is a bit too large for me. It will go into a PIF.
Nice haul! Look forward to your thoughts on the RR HMW. I also have the chubby and although big, in use I find it lush and luxurious. Anyway, the new one: 57mm loft is quite high. Lather beast or floppy? Can't beat the price, though.
Thats a cool brush. Congrats! I wish my Parker brush wasn't floppy and splay sooo much. I would really like to enjoy the badger brush.
My haul is a new case for my Den. Got it at an Oddity store. Not very odd but cheap. All loaded up already.
Just arrived today is the Bumblebee handle that @Dzia Dzia finished in a bumblebee motif. I fashioned the handle and sent it to him to do his magic. Upon arrival back in Hendersonville, I set this Ace 24mm synthetic knot with silicone. It is all done now.
West Coast Shaving and Shave Revolution both stock SB, if you prefer to use domestic sources. Not sure which formulations they carry though.
Gold Dollar 208 from Anthony Esposito. Whipped Dog Poor Mans Strop and WD Straight Razor (Thinking it is 5/8ths seeing as it is smaller then the 208.) So this SRAD has begun...............
Two razors coming from Japan: One arrived today— king pelican western-style straight razor One later this week— handmade traditional kamisori; left-handed (!)
