Can't post pics but I got a HUGE relief today - I just finished my final paper for university to get my bachelor degree - boy does that feel good :happy069
Okay, spent a few bucks last week and here's much of what I got. Did not take pix of two Flare Tip Super Speeds as I have not gotten them cleaned up really nice yet. Also bought the Seaforth Mug shown in the Shave Cabinet Pix. Got the cabinet, the two SS razors and a bunch of other old medicine cabinet contents junk just so I could get the no name brush. It was all sold as a single lot. $45 for everything including the '09 Burham. 1909 Burham SE No Name Brush Shave Cabinet
3 of these creams (Gada Cool Mint) 3 of these creams (Chabrawichi 555) 3 of these creaams (Tibet) all for sending to Israel
This first one I have had for a while, but I was trying to come to an agreement with the seller, but ended up eating it. The razor is broken unfortunately, doesn't close down properly, but I believe it is pretty rare, and am going to do some research to find out more. I love the Schick Platinums, which are fairly rare on their own, but this one looks like a very early version. It has a crude metal TTO, and a metal rod through the plastic below the TTO. In general it looks less finished than the normal version. I have never seen another like it. Sorry, didn't clean it. I also finally got this one. I thought it got lost in the mail. I basically bought it for the case, but the razor is in amazing shape. And finally I got a shaver #15 from Rick! Thank you!
Oops, I intended on putting this in my original post.. Congratulations Klaus. I am sure that is a huge relief to have that off your back!
There were a few Russian knock offs of this Schick prototype. Does yours have a Schick brand mark? It looks very interesting.
yeah, I do @sandcounty: that's one helluva nice razor! I got today: an Associate membership with the Free Software Foundation
Yet another Estie SJ. And another SJ with crispy insides. Bought this one for the 9550 nib. The pen will eventually be repaired. Eventually.
Thank you Scott! I shaved with it this morning. For some reason I was expecting it to me more aggressive than it is, but it was a very nice shave. It really is an interesting razor too. The lather is able to go under the blade because the comb is only closed at the end of the safety bars, and the teeth go pretty far in. It made it so I didn't have to rinse as often, and when I did it rinsed clear easily. Cool design. I am not entirely sure why, but the handle is actually magnetic also. I will try to get some pictures of the head tonight and edit them into my OP.
