Just came earlier today to replace the beat up old one I had. Now lapped and ready to go. F3432FF7-8F43-4A48-9069-4C880C1AF03A.jpeg

Norton 4k/8k? Basic stone every SR user needs. I recall a challenge on the old SRP where folks used only that stone to go bevel to finish. Takes skills!

The way I started out was using a 3k8k stone, it worked pretty well for setting a bevel, took forever it seemed. but I think that was mainly due to the inconsistency of the grit size. I soon learned the value of a 1k and quality of stones.

Great member across the street sent these to me. Original Shulton AS! I'm happier than a fat kid at a bake sale!
The Stirling is my first "real" tub. I ahbe ordered samples before, but not the big one. Smells awesome and I wonder if you can guess what my soap will be for the next few days....

Early Christmas present, technically some one else will be paying for it once the cash gifts are exchanged. Hopefully this is the last razor I buy for awhile. It was one of the last few I've always wanted to own one of.

:happy096: Very nice! I also would like to find one. Let us know how it shaves.

Picked up Oleo New City soap and splash as well as a Speick shave stick at Merz Apothecary in Chicago. This was at The Loop location. There is a bigger store in another part of town but I didn't make it there.

My bulldog came in with a crack in the handle but with straight teeth. The case is crappy but probably not original to it. Shined up nicely some plate wear to the cap

Received a couple of last minute items to enjoy during the holiday season - Keepsake Fruitcake and Magi AS and shave soaps. Both Actually smell great and I will choose Magi tomorrow for my Christmas shave. Merry Christmas everyone.

Finally got my hands on some Old Spice Lime
    1973/74 NOS Telescope Decanter (6oz) - $26 delivered

Had a lime shower and shave this morning with a couple of Christmas gifts (PDP Lime Zest bar soap and C&E Lime shave cream) and then finished up with the O/S Lime.
It's in pretty good shape considering how old it is and you can definitely tell that it is part of the Old Spice family of scents.

The spark plug was empty, so refilled with vintage OS and gave it to my oldest son for Christmas.
