:happy036: I've placed an order at The Shave Den Store and can't wait for it to arrive so I can show it of in this thread!

In the meantime, lemme see what goodies you've acquired, and remember ... :pics:

My haul from the TSD store came today! Good timing too as I am home sick with a fever or something. As pictured I got a bottle of M Bomb, an Arko stick (always wanted to try one), some Dorco 301s, and a 5 pack of Gillette spoiler blades. Thank you JoAnna for all the help getting them to me!

Accumulation of 2 weeks of vintage soap buying on ebay. Southerscribbler's thread , Stingraysrock pif , Hoosier Trooper 's knowledge started me on my merry way to really appreciating vintage tallow soaps. Some collections don't take years to build thank goodness.

That's a really nice collection of soaps! You can hold for about 10 years with that, I think.

Myself and lradke (Luke) have had some conversations about the Feather injector blades he had and he said he would PIF some to me.

    Photo1329.jpg

But he also said he had added a few goodies to the box and hoped I did not mind. The box arrived today and I said the following to him in a PM but wanted to say it publicly, WOW! what a generous gift, I thank you, and it will be put to good use.

In the box were the Feather blades, a Schick I2 Hydro-Magic, a tiny, tiny, Feather travel razor, and some Vikings Sword blades.

    THANK YOU LUKE!

Anytime my friend! :) I ask that if you ever try out that little Feather razor, you let me know how it goes! I have another one still wrapped up and may take it on a trip if it shaves well!;)

Well I can tell you one thing about it now, when unwrapping it and screwing in the little handle, be careful. I already cut the tip of my finger putting it together. Looks like a one, two, or three time use razor as I don't believe the head comes apart, but I will let you know if and when I use it. Might take a half bottle of gin to work up some courage. :)

Speaking of Feather injector... they also made this, for the ladies. Uses, obviously, regular injector blades...

I have one of those! It doesn't include the "Sputtom Blades" but "Platinum Edged" (or something like that) But yeah, one came with the injector my brother mailed me. I was wondering what it was...

I just got an Autostrop Safety Razor tin, to keep some of our razor blades in.

It's in fairly good shape. I am not sure of the exact age, but from what I have read, it dates back between 80 to 110 years.

Sara, now that's neat and I cannot think of a better use for the box.

Thanks. I wanted something appropriate to store blades in, so I searched eBay for "razor tins". I thought this was the most suitable one they had.

Autostrop did not last long past the 1930s so you are good on the 80 years.

I've got one just like that Gary. Brand new and only used once by me. Not a bad razor.
